But, in terms of birthday-proximity, you're going to have to do better than just having a birthday one day before mine: My father shares my birthday, as does my boss's boss, a co-worker's son, someone in another department, and a patron of ours.

I'm finally catching up with your Fitting in story, still at part 4 right now but it's fantastic! I wish I had already finished reading it, so I could have brought up a better review as "surprise appreciation" ;P

Yes, the Metal Gear team was indeed going for a Bond feel with that song.
I play a lot of games, so I was familiar with this song - not because I played Snake Eater, but because I keep abreast of game things.
Also, given my proclivities with snakes and Bond, people have linked me to this before, given that it's been out since November 17, 2004.

My birthday has been continuing (and started as early as Sunday)! :D
But now that you mention liquid cake, you must admit that cake batter is awfully delicious . . .
One when I had dinner with my father, one when I had lunch the next day with my mother, one at work the following day, and one I bought for myself the following day. >___>;;
1-Boston Cream with strawberries and chocolate fondant on top (and tufts of whipped cream)
2-Chocolate with white frosting
3-Vanilla poundcake with buttercream icing
4-Carrot cake with creamcheese icing (carrot cake ALWAYS has to have creamcheese-based icing, right?)
Of the four, I think that I would say the carrot cake (YES! ABSOLUTELY WITH CREAM CHEESE ICING!) is my favourite. I know the chocolate and the Boston Cream and the chocolate ones sound, good, too. Now, if you had Boston cream WITH chocolate . . . that seems like it'd be the best combination, IMO.
To be more precise: custard in the middle, naked along the sides, chocolate fondant frosting on top and six full strawberries placed on top, in a portion of more runny chocolate sauce. And 6 little tufted domes of whipped cream.
