GAY PRIDE PARADE?!
16 years ago
My psychologist said it might do me some good to just, even briefly, check out the shit going on downtown tomorrow.
But I don't really like parades, or care about gay pride. so I DUNNO.
SHOULD I GO?
There's also some kind of "under 25" thing going on at some community centre downtown that's also for fags and dykes, maybe go to that. But I'm sort of thinking it'd be everything i wouldn't be interested in anyhow.
I probably don't really have anything better to be doing anyway, so maybe i ought to try to go to those things, but i don't know. what does fuzzaffinity think?
In other news, every day from monday to friday I will be watching one portion of Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle. Wheeeeeeeeeee?

Come over to my place. I'm drinking fancy bourbon and just watched Once Upon a Time in the West for the first time. I've got The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in fancy HD, more bourbon, and room on my couch...
A critic I like said Once Upon A Time In The West has the best soundtrack ever written. Hope you dig it.
(just now watched a movie with a really standout soundtrack myself: Coraline)
Also, yeah the music was GREAT! It was totally a character in itself...best ever, I don't know. But speaking of sphagetti westerns you have to see Miike + Tarantino's exploitive take on them in "Sukiyaki Western Django." Not a great movie, but definitely bad ass, funny, and overall an cool time :)
I've never actually seen Once Upon A Time In The West. Been meaning to watch that and The Wild Bunch for the longest time.
And... I don't really like Miike or Tarantino very much at all... :c I bet the film is kinda funny though. XP
a GEEEEK. x3
Have you watched any Cassavetes yet? >:I
No Cassavetes yet :( My list is so long and time so short!
There is something kind of sad about you never having seen an Cassavetes. ;o; I bet nobody in LA has. ;O;
That is so many kinds of awful. ;o;
Seeing Faces or A Woman Under The Influence in a theatre would be goddamned overwhelming.
I think i'm gonna go to Orson Welles's Touch Of Evil tonight-- have you seen that?
LOL IM IN UR COUCH OBTAININ UR SNUGGLZ
I NEED MORE (LOCAL) FRIENDS WITH ACTUAL TASTE IN MOVIES!
With my film degree in hand, I will get myself a thankless job as fourth light operator assistant or 2nd-unit director's assistant's assistant or a fulltime extra.
But it'd be nice to hang out with you.
Your friend's wrong.
It's PRECISELY those tiny, thankless jobs that leads to more and better work! It's called paying your dues. The industry is so insular that people are expected to put in time learning in the low ranks, where you're allowed to make mistakes. If you jump straight to the big leagues without learning how to play the game, you would stand out and unless you bring something unbelievable, you'd get scoffed out of the system.
I just gotta say location, location, location. Be where the work is.
You're definitely right there's two different tracks and the one you/she mentions is totally legitimate and I got tons of respect if you can make it that way!
Also, I regret coming across as brash as my previous reply was. I don't mean to be like that :(
But yeah, like, if I could get ten people who aren't just my friends (or Ray Carney. if Ray Carney had anything to say about my movies, I'd listen) to see movies i make, that'd be pretty cool for me. If i could make enough money to eat from them, that'd be perfect.
It's okay. XP it sounded a little brash but *shrug* i thought you might've just been caught up or something.
hey... You've done something like that several times YOU SURE YOU DON'T MEAN IT? ; O ;
Honestly, I'm genuinely a nice guy. If I ever come across mean and blunt, it's actually for comedic effect because it's such the dire opposite of how I actually act ;)
SO am i to take those other comments you made like this? XP
(Also, I'mma go ahead and dissuade you from the fagdyke after-party, if that's not over and you've yet to go. Just this fluffer's opinion *nods*.)
and the party was lame and i can never listen to house music again.
Was it all like thump boom bwap barrap dvv gwoh-gwoh?
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOMBOOMBOOM BOOM BOOM
the unduhwear
buy some cute underwear while you're down there.
Once you get past the autistic homosexuals, there is a alot of fun things to do at pride events!!
or fun.
Also unless I am actually the Flash, i've missed the parade itself, but i'll got the festival thingy
