So I had recently underwent a Colonoscopy, and they had to take a biopsy to test for Crohn's disease. A few days ago I received a letter in the mail stating that my results came back, and I have Ulcerative Colitis, which is right up there with Crohn's. I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this, because I still can't believe it. I am the first person in my family to have this, and don't really know how to handle it, other than trying to stay away from certain foods, or basically everything that tastes good. I am still going to attend conventions, I won't let this downfall stop me from enjoying myself, even if it hurts in the process.
