R.I.P. Marko - The fandom loses an awesome rat

I just learned that 
Haal (also went by 
SnackRat) has passed away due to cancer a few days ago.
My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.
I first met Marko at Anthrocon in 2009, while he was wearing his awesome fursuit, Rattus.
While that was the last time I was at AC, I did see him at Midwest Furfest in the years after that, and enjoyed every moment I got to spend with him.
Most memorable was when he joined me and several friends for dinner, and we were able to chat outside of the con atmosphere.
I'm saddened that I didn't get to spend more time with him, or get to know him better; but his loss has made the world a little bit gloomier.
RIP bud. May you now be enjoying the company of millions of playful, furry, chittering companions.

I know this stuff happens, people who succumb to circumstances. i think of all the family and friends left.
Memory is the most important thing.
