Where have I been???

Hello everyone,
I'd like to apologize to all my friends here for being gone for a while. I was going through the loss of someone very close to me recently, and have been a little recluse. I don't really like to discuss much of my personal life, and I have found it difficult to come here and talk about it, for numerous reasons, but I know that's not fair to anyone here.
Late last year, around the holidays, my sister was murdered in a case of domestic violence, while protecting one of her children. The past few months have been dedicated to gaining custody over her children, bringing her killer to justice, and most importantly, coping.
For those who know me well, my sister is was my biggest hero, ever. We were very close in age, and she always showed me and my loved ones support (even when discovering I like to draw porn for work). She introduced me to Buddhism at a young age, which I still practice to this day. She was a veteran who served in Iraq, and was honorably discharged on disability, as a hero. She even started me on my path for my love of classic Sonic games, from the day when she teasingly kept me from playing Sonic the hedgehog on one Christmas, on the Sega Genesis. The only good that has come out of this is that our parents have began talking again, and are once again good friends, after literally over 15 years of not talking to each other. If I could trade that or anything to have her back, I would. But, I know that's not how the world works, and that she would consider this a weak thought.
Anyway, I didn't come to vent my feelings. I came to announce my return, and new content. And to discuss the status of any open commissions:
Any commissions I have not shown progress on, I am willing to do one of two things.
1. Give a full refund as soon as I am able. I just ask that you give me time to make room for the funds, since I am planning to move back home to help my parents raise the kids, and travel charges have been very expensive. Refunds will be prompt, so no worries. I have no intentions of running with anyone's money.
2. I will complete the commissions I owe, and continue giving updates.
Please let me know by note, when possible.
