that is horrible! i'm so sorry to hear, i hope it isnt a pathogen or anything that could spread. sometimes however, that's just how things go you know..? caring for babies is a very tricky and unpredictable.. sometimes they just don't end up healthy and there's no real reason for it. i'm a little worried about facing the same thing, since my two pigeons are breeding now and i hope to hand rear the hatchlings.. my thoughts are with you and i wish you healing from this terrible incident
