Yay! Congrats Yahto+Elu. Ring them wedding bells and no one bother the happy couple if they both go a lake and perform a synchronized underwater dance. Cameras should definitely not be rolling at that time.

After developing Penny Wydra, I'm interested to see what she looks like so, I'm going to commission an artist to draw her. She may not have won but I believe she'll be beautiful looking.

Not yet. I've got a couple of artists I use on a regular basis to draw my characters. Some are better than others. Do you have any suggestions? If they aren't too expensive (approximately $50.00) and they are good, I'll consider them.

But I don't know if they're open for commissions or not. They're my fav at the moment <3 And the other artists I know and like have higher prices.

Thanks for the information. I'll have to do a lot of thinking to decide who I'd rather go with, assuming either is available for commissions. If they aren't, I do have an artist I'd like to try. He's one of VERY few anthro artists that I've seen that can actually make you think you're looking at a real live anthropomorphic animal. If you haven't seen the drawing of the raccoon girl deciding if the jeans she's wearing fit properly, do so. My jaw dropped at the realism in the drawing.

I've got Coy to do the drawing of Penny. I don't know how long it'll take but, we're in the process of deciding how she'll look. (Pose, clothing, etc.)

According to Coy Powers, it shouldn't be too long. I sent him the description this morning and he's already shown me a sketch. She's actually rather cute. He may be finished with the drawing before Friday. I'll save this conversation and, when I post the drawing to my FA page, I'll send you a link.

You're quite welcome. Even though I created Penny just to offer her to you for your comic, after seeing the basic sketch, I may use her in my story. I just need to figure out where to put her. (She'll only be a cameo unless I really do like her in her finished state.)

I just wanted to let you know that I got the drawing of Penny back from the artist this morning. I just uploaded it to one of my pages. I tried to upload this drawing to my FA page but, for some reason, FA wouldn't accept it even though the artist assured my that the file was acceptable to FA. Wow, she's absolutely lovely, her expression looks so sweet and nice. I'm stunned by the incredible realistic style of this artist. I had no idea how beautiful a Raccoon and Lutraï (or otter !) mix could look ! I'm kinda feeling sad now because she's not part of the world of Cérès and dang ! She'd fit in there so well ! >o<
I mean, I don't regret that we chose Elu as Yahto's mate at all but... there's something to do with Penny and I simply don't know what yet. Argh ! >o<
But I'm seriously glad that you've asked her to be designed !

Thanks for you compliments. I don't blame y'all for your decision. I've said that the results might have been different had I had a drawing of her. But, of course, I didn't create her until I saw the contest. Well, better luck next time. Maybe I'll even offer Penny. LOL.

I went to Vashaa's and houkuko's pages and saw that vashaa doesn't do commissions from a description alone and houkuko isn't accepting commissions as this time. So, I'll go with one of the other artists I know. Thanks for suggesting both of these artists. They both look like they're pretty good. Maybe in the future I'll be able to use one of them.
