Vore in Unexpected Places

Hey, folks! So, I'm not around a lot these days due to, well, various hellish reasons that all sum up as "adulting in spite of not having a consistent career YET," and I don't post a lot of Journals, but I'm hoping to change that soon. And one topic I thought about was "Surprise Vore." By which, I mean seeing vore in something you honestly never would have expected vore to turn up.
For example, I'm a huge Metal Gear fan, and the idea of Metal Gear and Vore ever being in the same sentence was outlandish to me. Yet, with the super polarizing spinoff title, Metal Gear Survive, one such boss is a strange mutated Dinosaur 'thing' called "Big Mouth." And in addition to Big Mouth living up to its' name in constantly trying to eat the player, it takes vore and consumption to surprisingly creative places. Big Mouth isn't just trying to eat the player, it gobbles up whatever's around it and uses the material it eats to grow new arms, one is a giant sword, and the other is an honest to God machine gun. And once it has no more use for its' new arm...it bites its' arm off and eats it, occasionally spitting out whatever junk its' eaten as a projectile or, I guess...indigestion. Matter of fact, you can use Big Mouth's gluttony against it when it tries to eat you, and force it to instead eat an explosive fuel barrel for massive amounts of damage.
It's a surprisingly creative boss, and not the kind of thing you see with man eating enemies...and again, this is Metal Gear, soooo, not the kinda thing you expect to come across. 'XD
Anyone else have such unexpected "surprise vore" moments in things you like?

At one point in the episode, the pair are attacked by a bunch of sea creatures, which Aquaman finds he can't control, and Batman actually ends up being swallowed by a sperm whale. As if that weren't enough, he actually has to fight a Giant Squid that is INSIDE THE WHALE'S STOMACH, presumably being digested.
Batman escapes the no-doubt-in-agony squid when Aquaman finally manages to use his powers to get the whale to burp him out. His reaction to all this?
"I won't be having calamari for a while."
For some reason, all of this was something that I was not expecting to see in such a show...then again, this is DC, and they do have characters like Killer Croc and King Shark around, so maybe it's not THAT surprising... (shrugs)
Sincerely,
The Cheshire Cat's Master
Buuuut yeah, given Croc-o and King Shark's existence, wouldn't be the MOST surprising place for it, right? :P
As for any “surprise vore” moments I’ve come across myself? Well, I don’t ever watch Power Rangers, but it just so happens that by sheer coincidence, the only episodes I happened to catch on TV involved the Green Ranger getting swallowed by a hermit crab monster to wound it from the inside, and another monster who gained power by eating everything in sight with his serpent-like arms...aaaaaand he ends up giving himself a massive tummyache in the process.
Also, one of my friends showed me this short on YouTube because she thought it was really funny...and it took every bit of self control not to break out in a sweat. XD

Interesting, I THINK I remember you mentioning that monster 'Skarf' before at one point. I used to watch Power Rangers as a kid for a few seasons, and I'll never forget my first REAL venture into vore with the dreaded Terror Toad, who had basically eaten the entire team of Power Rangers, save for one, who managed to destroy him and free all the rangers and other victims from his belly. Between Terror Toad, Big Burpa, Skarf, and this Hermit Crab Monster, seems Power Rangers is pretty prime for this kinda thing. 'XD
Aaaaaand I think I can see what'cha mean there. 'XP
I definitely remember the Terror Toad, and he seems to be THE Power Rangers vore monster for a lot of people (I can definitely see why XD). Personally, I prefer the baddie with the unconventional, armor-like design, not to mention the way he consumes his food and why he needs to eat so much are really unique and clever ideas.
And I definitely agree, there’s a LOT of these monsters in the show. I just remembered another one, a Venus Flytrap creature that could absorb the Power Rangers through a toothy maw on her chest...
