*sigh*
I just moved together with my Girlfriend. She sadly has no job at the moment and my earnings are not enough for both of us so we had to take help for her from the jobcenter. Something no one told us is that by law the jobcenter not only take care about her but also must force me to get a better payed job. No matter the risk, they only want me to have more money so they don't have to pay anymore. Its kinda frustrating because no one told us anything about this but also its sad to leave a safe job after 9 years because of something like this... I admit that earning more money is more important than to keep a job you feel good at but its all a little... suddenly.
Because I now don't know whats going to happen this year I sadly had to disappoint my EF roommate and cancle my participation for my room so he still has enough time to find a new roommate u.u I feel like shit right now that I had to disappoint him...
That doesn't definitely mean I won't be at Eurofurence at all but its unlikely at this point.

Hopefully you'll be able to be next year.
Generally money shouldn't be the drive for a job, if it is then you might as well sell drugs.
If you feel happy with a job then you should stick to it, working something that you hate and know you have to get up early in the morning for is nothing good and it breaks you down over time.
With the situation at hand though I can understand that it wasn't an option.
take it easy and look after yourself (^. .^) once things are more stable and known im sure you will be able to get going again
Also, with chances being small, I still hope you are able to come to EF. The chance to finally meet you was one of the things I was really looking forward to.
In my part it is very difficult to find a job, and I am doing a course to increase the probability of finding it.
but is it regular to force someone to quit their job? :(
Was there no possibility of promotion or a raise?
I hope things will work out and all be worth it in the end.
