Batch Upload
I hate batch uploading, especially because I quickly lose respect for doodles after they're as done as I feel like taking them, but bah, uploaded a bunch of random stuff that felt okay enough to share. In a perfect world, I'd just upload as I go, but the last month I haven't really felt like finishing anything, just felt like idly doodling without care. Maybe at some point I'll take things a little more seriously and actually try to craft a drawing worth investing more than, like, an hour into. I'd like that, actually, but... need a reason or really motivating idea, first!

Not sure - First saw the technique used to demonstrate how to shade chest fur on more feral looking critters, but adapter it for creating volume in hair. Been meaning to try using it to create more volume-based areas on my birds (like on the shoulders and chest) but haven't remembered to do so. The way I tend to draw is sort of lazy... basically rough penciling and anything else is done on the fly with vectors, and by the time I get to the linework I'm tired of working on the piece already! Eventually I'll learn to not rush things, slow down, and take a couple days to complete a drawing in small batches instead of my quick bursts of incoherent doodling. :s

Not sure that there's a name for it - I just adapted the same techniques in this video that are usually used for shading: https://youtu.be/wcjepTCXh4A?t=8m42s
