Windows to the Beyond

Today another star was added to the universe. My Grandmother, aged 88, passed away yesterday evening in her hospital bed. She had a stone in her gall bladder that became problematic and her liver had shut down. She was admitted to a hospital near where she lived though probably never knew she was there. The doctors could not operate on her to remove the gall stone as she was too dehydrated.
Earlier today the family watched her go.
Say hello to grandpa for me. And know these tears are of joy for all the lessons you’ve given me. For all the love you brought into everything you did. For the strength you gave all of us.
The world is a better place because of you.

Honestly, wish stuff like this wouldn't happen to others. But, remember those happy memories and not the sad, and remember the lessons. Be happy.
I'm happy that she lived a full live and was loved. I am glad for the time I had with her and for the knowledge she gifted to the people she met. I think it is best to celebrate the life of someone you love. Happiness in the face of a passing.
Thanks~
