They've already started doing it. First there were just graphics cards. Then they became Pro. Then they became XT. Then they became XTX. Because more X's are better than fewer. So we'll end up with like, X2950 XTX. Considering they used to be simple like "Radeon 8500", I'd say we're already heaping the extra names on :9

It is a way to clear invintory. The package deal is accually quite a deal =p Only 770, you end up saving a good few hundred then if you bought them seperately, and you don't get a Powered by Uber Edition sticker that way! That sticker alone makes it worth it! lol.

But yah, nothing ATI has out yet, supports DX10, so anyone buying these cards, or any vid card recently, is wasting there money unless they go with the ONLY Nvidia card on the market that supports DX10 so far =p

Btw, the features of DX10 are friking amazing! The smoke is the most mind blowing of it all. You can check out some of the demo's here:

Although, the smoke one is the only one you can see the improvement on. The other three are far to small to fully understand what the improvement is in. That's why they offer an HD downloadable version of DX10's features there ;)

From all the reviews that the poor saps on Newegg purchased this bundle, the pair run all there fps's beutifully.

Heck, if it'll play my FPSers, then I'm fine with it.

But I'm not going to sell my firstborn into slavery just to have it.

I mean, I'd love to have framerates that would make Cray Sys. gasp, but really...I am but a Drake...
