Ok, things are finally up and running here in the bunker! We cleared out the snakes from the server room and the wifi is back on. ZC is just making a few adjustments to the system connectivity hardware while I finish cleaning out the living space. It's a bit dusty in here, but otherwise it's really nice! It's a lot bigger than I had expected (that's what she said?) with a bunch of huge rooms and high rocky ceilings. There's even a hatch leading into a big open hanger with some dusty old planes and trucks! Who knew you could literally rent a chunk of mountainside to set up shop in?

I ended up having a long talk with ZC on the way here Wednesday morning and he helped me calm my nerves. He explained how he has several failsafes built into the TWIST program, witb a software killswitch in place if things were to get out of control.

I've got some butterflies still, but I'm really just more excited now than anything else. I've got the implant on and everything!! It's a little circuit board with some blinking lights attached to the back of my neck. I thought it was going hurt at first when he showed it to me, but it was really just a pinch and I can hardly even notice it now.

I can't wait for ZC to go back home and boot up the system!! I wonder what the first changes are going to be?
