I almost accidentally shoplifted a bottle of Ranch

Because I thought I was at Home Depot and I had brought it in with me, but I was actually at a grocery store and forgot to get a cart so I put it in my pocket for a few seconds then put it back (in the cereal aisle) when I realized that it doesn't make sense to bring ranch dressing into a Home Depot. It was Friday.
5 minutes later I got a plastic owl.
