Yeah... they tried to do the same thing to me.
Made me remove a few of my favorite submissions.
Told me if I didn't "Trim down" my gallery, all SL submissions would be deleted from my gallery.
When I told them that if they did that, I would up and leave the site, I was asked not to be offended because it's "in the rules".

they gave you the option to 'trim it down'? they outright deleted everythign sl related from my gallery and thanked me for my cooperation and understanding....like what bloody cooperation!? o.0

Did that to me too...But what I dont understand Is why others have still got their Sl pics when mine all but 1 was removed...The aup says if avatar is bourght then it must be made individual from the origonal (which I did) never posted more than 3 of the same thing or theme, and none of the pics had yiffing in them...Only a bit of nudity...where theres plenty of others who have done the same and their pics are still in their galleries....this is the note I got.... This image has been removed becuase it violates the AUP

You are only allowed to submit secondlife pictures that feature avatars or clothing that you create. You can NOT post store bought avatars or clothing. You can not post pictures of your character "Posing".

the AUP on Secondlife reads as follows:


Second Life
Screenshots from Second Life may be posted so long as they meet the following criteria:

* Avatars and Objects - Screenshots are allowed for the sole purpose of showcasing Avatars and objects designed by or for the submitting user. Screenshots may not be posted for posting scenes of interaction scenes.
* Purchased Avatars - Avatars, such as those sold by Luskwood Creatures, may only be uploaded provided the avatar contains significant modifications which would distinguish itself from the original model.
* Quantity - Second Life screenshots will be limited to three (3) submissions per item/avatar per user. Users wishing to display multiple angles of the same Avatar are encouraged to create a collage.


Any and all similar images have been removed from your gallery.

So I dunno.....Gonn find somewhere else to post pics as it seems like this admin contradicts the aup

the aup was changed a while ago in regards to this subject. its not a contradiction those are the actual rules regarding sl screens. but i know how yah feel. they did it to me once a few years back. so now i only post stuff i built from scratch or did some heavy modding to.

Yeah I understand whats what now ;) I post most of my SL stuff somewhere else now ( link in my journal mature veiwers only please ;) )

They haven't come down on me(yet) though I suppose with the rule changes stuff like this was inevitable.

Yeah they haven't touched my stuff yet either... but then I haven't added anything in a very long time
