I'm a relatively new watcher, but I wanted to say one thing:

Bravo. It's a painful decision to make but a partner should understand and at least accept these sorts of things, not coerce you into ditching your interests because they don't like them.

I appreciate that. It certainly wasn't easy, though all I really want now is my house back, well that and the fursuit. One step at a time, I suppose.

That is true. Especially if that was your house and she was living with you. I'll keep fingers crossed that your place and stuff is safe. As someone who has been through similar(though it's usually been me kicking the ex out), it's not fun.

I appreciate that. The real lesson here is, never ever settle, or stick with a person who can't accept how you are as-is. No one is made-to-order.

Hope all will go well for you. I am intending to be single for life (pseudo-celibacy, I like to call it, because I'm not deliberately abstaining from love, but am not actively seeking it), so I can't possibly feel your situation, but I'll do my best, and pray for nothing but the best for you. As that house is rightfully yours, worst case scenario is litigation (but here's to hoping it won't go to that extreme), hehe.

On that self-same note, I'm glad you chose to be you. Whether I end up with a girlfriend, or (most likely) not, I always said to myself: if she can't appreciate me for who I am, she isn't worthy of me. If you are going to look for love again, here's to hoping you shall find a worthier one.

Whatever happens, I shall wish you nothing but the best.
