Okay so and I went to Cracker Barrel and ended up being seated at the exact same table and got the same server who remembered us. Shortly after receiving our meals she came over to quietly inform us that the older gentleman she served before us, seated at the table across from us, paid for our dinner! Both of us barely looked at that kind soul but we remember he was all alone and eating pancakes. Can't blame him for having our waitress tell us after he left, but it just made me think of Batman disappearing at that point so... We have ourselves the Pancake Batman! He is gradually restoring our faith in humanity and we genuinely thank him.
