Gran Turismo one the PSP. Holy Shit.
Now, when the PSP was originally announced, Polyphony Digital, the producers of the Gran Turismo series, said that they were going to be releasing Gran turismo mobile with the new handheld.
That was back in 2004, when the PSP was released.
Finally, in this years E3 expo, Polyphony has yet again announced that they are actually gonna be releasing GT Mobile finally. And this time, they've put a release date to the game: October 1st, 2009.
I now have a reason to get a PSP, and I shall be getting my hands on one asap.
Now for the stats:
-800+ cars.
-35+ tracks, including the Nurburgring Nordscliefe
-4 player multiplayer over wireless. You can also play over the internet using Sony's new Ad-Hoc program (I think you need a PSP to do this though)
-2 exclusive cars to the PSP game, the Ferrari Enzo and the 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec-V. You can, however, send these to your GT5 file via wireless, so they're sorta going the way of Pokemon in a sense, where certain versions get certain Pokemon that the other doesn't.
--In addition to sending cars to GT5, you can also trade and send cars to friends over wireless, which is pretty nifty.
Yes, i creamed my pants. The ultimate Japanese Racing game on the go.
Fuck. Yes.

FA+

However, Having seen the screens of the red Spec-V in PSP GT, I am now rather excited because that all-carbon spoiler looks soooo sexeh.
It's DLC, though, isn't it? No more of the mini discs (UHD or something?) They announced it with the PSP Go (Which looks really fucking retarded).
Also, you're just writing a journal about this? E3 was like 2 months ago. Or maybe only one... Still...
Doesn't matter, I suppose, since I don't have a PSP any way, though... :/ (I still wish GT4 had online)
I can't say I play a lot, either, but there's a good amount of people on the SOCOM US Navy SEALs severs. Also, Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2. xD
I do miss playing Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and ATV Offroad Fury 4 online, though. ATV's servers just went down within the past few months. :(
I've also played Jak X Combat Racing online, and there never seems to be a lot of people online, but I think those servers are still up... But this is irrelevent.
