Well that sucks. Thats some very poor service.

It sucks extremely. We might actually switch service if we get the money to do so. Just expensive.

That happened to us at one point. Our connection was down more often than it was up and our ISP wasn't picking up the phone when we rang about it. We couldn't get through to them to cancel when we switched to a new provider.

Geez man... Sounds eerily similar to what we just went through.

We've had two ISP since the first had great customer service but had some hardware issues that made phone calls sound poor.
The current ISP has terrible customer service but the connection is pretty good and has the highest data cap available in our area.
It took them nearly three weeks to port our phone number over and it only happened because the case manager was away ill and the operator connected us direct to an engineer who simply rang his counterpart at the previous one and sorted it in five minutes.

Geez man,sounds like your company's are just as much crap as ours.... *Shakes head with a sigh* They pull that shit cause they know we need them and so they can do anything,not like we have a choice but to sit around and take it.

The thing that sucks is that where I live the only wired internet available is dial up and the network provider won't upgrade the node so we are stuck with 4G wireless which is expensive and has low data caps.

Oh damn,that's even worse off then us then. We have two internet providers here,one is better than the other,but because its better you pay more. The other one is complete and utter shit,like above and beyond a pile of stinking festering manure. But its all a lot of people around here can afford because we live in a small town. I can only imagine how irritating the situation for y'all is though....

Chorus is only a network provider that sells to ISPs/phone companies so any ISP in the county can supply us with dial up over the network.

Wireless is more restricted but there are at least three decent providers in our area but there is little difference in what they offer. If I moved to town I would be able to get either VDSL or Fibre both with unlimited data.

Hmmmm I see,dial up is such a pain in the arse though. I remember those days too well.

I suppose at least there are three,better than none I guess. Mm,but moving to town sucks. At least in my opinion,since I don't like a lot of people.

Its also expensive. This is the cheapest place in town at $195 per week.
