Laid Off Update

OK, so, just when you think things couldn't get much worse... they are starting to.
My last check from Swissport hit the bank, and it was smaller then I thought it would be, and even with one more check to go, and no word on when I'll see my Unemployment check, I have to start putting flares in the air and call for immediate assistance. My rent is due May 1st, and although I have a few days after that to get it in, it's still almost $600 that I owe, and the company that runs my building operates on a "if late, we can evict at any time" policy (thankfully MN Law prevents them from just giving me the boot right away, but still, it's a situation I'd like to avoid).
