Hello everyone!,
A lot of people have been asking me about setting up with something called "Gumroad". I have been considering it but haven't had the time to actually look into it. At the moment I have too many projects on the go to also maintain another website. Its possible its a simple online storefront that doesn't require maintenance if so that would be great. But then I would still have to figure out the legalities. Had to hire an accountant and fill out some weird incomprehensible treaty forms just to set up patreon for example, so who knows I am NOT a creature that enjoys paperwork. Anyway I do plan to set up there at some point since it does seem to be something people wan< Just havent taken the plunge yet, maybe when I get tired of working on animation for a little while :)

It also does digital delivery of goods, and once someone has paid for an item they have access to it evej id you update its contents, so you can use it to allow pepple to prepay for access to something you fonish as you go, etc.
One of the devs on OpenToonz distributes his builds via gumroad as $0+, I initially downloaded it for free (he has it set PWYW, $0+) and then when I decided what he was doing had value to me, repurchased it at $40. I don't anticipate a lot of people will do that on an optionally-free item but it seemed right for me.
I created my marketplace there to distribute the scenefiles from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMz4Mlwn7Mc so people could see how I used OpenToonz to use it, with a PWYW option (no-one ever has).
