▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
last week I went throught an horrible scare, a electric transformer (or power station) near where I live exploded and started to catch fire and that caused here to be a strong voltage surge that damaged the 60% of all the house appliances in here, including my computer.
Luckily the only thing that suffered was the HD, I though for a sec that all the info and files I had there where lost, but I could manage to turn on my pc and save all the files...All the drivers were unconfigured so I had to made an emergency reboot. (Or refresh)
I'm RN installing PS Cs6 and updating my GPU drivers... with the internet here is a nightmare to donwload something that's more than 1 GB... so I had to be very patient... That's why I have been so inactive these past weeks, I'm very sorry for all of this.
But yeah! I have to mention that my HD could survive after all, so all the files and such are all intact.
I hope to be returning to my usual commission rhythm in the next weeks.
I couldn't find an english translation of this, but in case you'd like to see how it was, there's a link where you can see a video of the event:

RN I'm almost finishing with it...I just wanted to let people know how's life in my side right now.
The power supply in my area is quite sketchy too, mostly due to old house wiring...
Do look out for USB connectivity if you want the UPS to save your work and shut down your PC when itself is low on juice. You will also need a UPS that is quite a big bigger than what you are going to plug-in on it, most UPS provider have guides on how big you need. (I hooked up a large laptop, a USB hub, and two hard drives totals about 110W to 130W maximum, normally I get 10-15 minutes of battery life but only 5 minutes if I am playing a game. Higher VA/Watts means longer battery endurance. )
