Moving forward with a new long-term project, seeking artists
7 years ago
In early April, I embarked on a three day vision quest out of my mind that permanently altered where my life is heading.
I have been in hiding for almost four years, but I now know what I must do: I will build a "spacesuit," and tell my batshit insane life story from a semi-fictional perspective that will help me open up in a way that I'm actually comfortable with.
This means re-inventing myself as a new entity altogether. I've been writing lots of new material both musical and literary (since I lost all my old works in progress when my last laptop died), and I am soon looking to throw money at artists who aren't afraid of gritty yet comical sci-fi alien action and can deliver the goods with style. I mostly need character reference sheets and scene concepts for now, followed later this year by album art, promotional materials, and eventually a committed working partner (or two or three) capable of helping me produce a graphic novel in the long run. It's going to be sort of like starting my own new business; if things work out, I will be taking most excellent care of my creative partners, and if the project flops, then at least some talented artists will have made some well deserved money in the process.
Ultimately, this project will become a combination of recorded music, visual graphics, literature and live performance art.
I am not rich, but I'm not broke as shit living on the streets anymore either, and I can finally afford to invest in some serious conceptual artwork to get the ball rolling and see if I can spark some interest in my networks of influence. I have a hell of a crazy story to tell, one that at least a few hundred people I know of would be excited to read already, so get at me if you're interested or know anyone who might be, we'll discuss details in private.

Just a by-product of my conditioning, it didn't come easily or painlessly. And thanks man, I am doing my best to come back to life here.
