What is it that makes clients think they can take advantage of artists? I'm REALLY getting sick of it. I ask for payment UP FRONT for a reason. I'm tired of getting screwed out of money. I don't have the time or energy or financial means to be okay with free art, not like this.

usually i ask (and i state this in my TOS in my commission info) that i either take all up front or 1/2 now, 1/2 when done. but i was desperate and he was pushy about paying me when i was done. fuck me for being a softy.

i'm not sure which sucks more. i for one have NEVER screwed over anyone in a commission. I stake my integrity and reputation on it.
