Computer advice (Would appreciate any help)

Situation: My computer is overheating and the CPU ramps up to 100 Celsius whenever I RUN ANY GAME WHATSOEVER. The heat is noticeable and the fans start blowing hot air at me.
I just used 3 cans of duster buster, applied new thermal paste, and messed with my power settings and turned off overclocking.
still reaching 100 Celsius.
I am out of options/ideas.
I am not sure if I need a new power supply ( I say power supply cause thats the hottest damn thing there is and I think that may be the issue )
or what.

It might be time to look into after-market cooling solutions. A different heat sink, more fans, or I imagine someone might eventually recommend liquid cooling. I do know that, roughly, the positions of the fan, and whether they're pointed inwards or outwards, can have an effect on airflow and how dust settles into the unit itself.
Out of curiosity, what game are you trying to run? Are there any games that don't cause this heat spike?
After-market? Whats that mean?
I can see your GPU should probably be able to handle most of those games. League is asking for a minimum for 3 Ghz, but if it was running fine previously then it should be fine, unless an update coincided with this issue. Still, I don't think it would affect all those games...
It's possible that the thermal paste went bad? Initially, that is. I believe spreading it on too thick can cause issues too. Maybe it was spread too wide accidentally? The heat sink might have become unseated, causing less-than-ideal heat dispersion. That's just a couple things off the top of my head. I unfortunately don't get to work with desktops in my line of work, which actually disappoints me now, but I can ask a couple of buddies if they can think of anything.
A failing power supply can absolutely cause many issues, usually crashing and instability though.
Intel had an issue with the thermal paste INSIDE their CPUs for a while. I"m not sure if yours would be affected, or if this is still a concern with new Intels. Look into de-lidding, though it's kinda dangerous if you're not very experienced with such things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKhfZd5HDkY
ON SECOND THOUGHT - Since you say it's giving off noticeable heat even with the fans maxed out, some hardware probably is failing. I'd try replacing the power supply first, as you suspect. If that doesn't work, it could be the CPU or possibly even motherboard.
Dear lord, I cant delid if my life depending on it XD, fuck you should have seen how shaky I was with just a q-tip and thermal paste.
In regards to the power supply
yes my pc is crashing and just randomly turning off.
As for the fan? would that even be compatible with my computer? looks a little big
Admittedly, the motherboard is a bit of a long shot, but it is the backbone of your PC. If any components on the motherboard start to fail, it could cause any number of problems.
Yeah, dual-tower CPU coolers are very big! Two things to watch for before buying one: does your RAM have a very tall heat spreader on it? If so, it will fit with only the center fan installed. How much space is there between the CPU and side of the case? It's best to actually measure to be sure before buying one. However, you might be surprised - if your case has a 120mm rear-exit fan, then that cooler just might fit!
At least a good 1' and 5" away from each other.
There is literally no space where my ram is XD
Oh! ..And definitely get one of these if you don't have one already. Better safe than sorry! :D
Is it ok if I just use rubber gloves ? I have a fuck ton of them and that's what I been using
As for the liquid cooling. I can't do that 0_0 too pricey
So, either you risk killing the CPU or upgrade. That is honestly your only option, liquid cooling is not going to save your cpu.
I had a i7 3770 beck in the day and it eventually suffered the same fate under liquid cooling ( corsair H100i ),
Here is a link to an i7 de-lid to give you an idea of the risk.

But I just spent 80 on a new power supply.
So now I got 120 left
But it just came today so I am gonna see what's up. The power supply itself was getting so hot that it started to give burns a little
Last idea is to bite the bullet and see if you can finance a new computer and make payments.
This is all I've got and all any tech can tell you.
