In your original post, you compared this site banning cub porn to them banning racism, correct? It is my understanding that FA banned cub porn because the site owner can be sued/arrested for hosting such content. Whereas banning racism is likely because nobody wants to listen to ignorant people ranting and bashing others for thinking differently. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

THat would be correct, about the reason for banning cub porn. It raised problems with funding.

Frankly I only used the term alt-right because I've heard it applied by its own members to describe how they are different from the more traditional, stodgy Old Man Club of the traditional right. A faction more willing to take a stand for its member's ideals than they, who typically are mostly words and little action.

Know too, that the groups being banned? They are the ones responsible for causing those feelings in others. If you support those groups, then perhaps this is a justice that you now get to feel it too.

Perhaps you are right, perhaps you are wrong. Perhaps we are both wrong, and perhaps we are both right. All I know is this. Members of the site have ties to groups that have acted against the jewish people with violence, against the african american people with violence, and against the gay community with violence. Those people likely will either be removed or will leave. That is simply the order of things. Others, unconnected to those groups but having ideals that are of a conservative variety ALSO will likely be removed unjustly just for having a viewpoint that is different. That is ALSO the order of things.

I go down that road because I speak on the things I have seen personally.

My statement of getting out was more of a recommendation quite frankly. Things are going to get ugly for all of us soon. I don't want to see anyone banned, even those I do not agree with politically, and I do not believe banning someone just for their ideals alone is just. There IS a difference between disagreeing with gay people, or not trusting an ethnic group.... and acting against them actively in attempts to harm them. If you don't trust an ethnic group or don't like them, fine, that is your own business and I do not care. If you planned to injure or kill members of said group purely out of spite for their race, that is where the problem comes up, and what I have a problem with. My own reaction to your side of the coin is based, I WILL admit this, on the overt examples I have seen where I live, where your side of the coin has a dominant influence on local government and I have seen innocent people die over it, while the law enforcement does nothing. I have had gay friends be murdered, I have had black friends be murdered. I'm tired of seeing it happen.

As for all this "evidence" about "actual" murder carried out by the "alt-right". Wow, I must live in another country because In America there is no way in HELL a minority getting murdered by someone with ties to the "alt-right" would fly under the national NEWS radar. A man tried to kill me a year ago, because I am gay. My partner got in the way and got shot in my place. He is dead now. The man who killed him had a t-shirt with the slogan of the current administration.

Twice the year before, black friends died and a third was beaten until he almost died.

A month ago another died.

I won't humor you with giving names or anything g like that because each of them was a good and decent person whose families do not need further harrassment from people like you.
