OKay so if you're here reading this you probably clicked in from my disclaimer on my recent YCH image. Yes, it's for real, but no, I'm not actually happy about it. This is kind of a parody thing, but you really can get the image if you actually want in on it. I've seen reused cut and paste images labeled as YCH images that are way too expensive for the offered quality, especially considering the complete lack of effort in personalizing the images. It's bad for artist/customer relations once the customer realizes they're being ripped off, and that affects more than just the offending artist. People who put effort into doing what they do, rather than resorting to mass production, are going to be affected by hurt feelings from other fellow artists, especially when they're of the same niche, thus attracting the same customers. That, and those that put effort into their work but take time are being out-produced by the paint-by-numbers schlock that took maybe 10 minutes.

So hey, yeah, I posted a parody YCH and am actually selling it, but I just wanted these thoughts out there for smarter shopping, and if you really don't care, then more power to you. That's WHY I'm still selling this image despite the qualms I have. For one I'm not going to make this a habit, and for two I realize that some customers are aware and honestly don't mind.
