Hi! Long time since I've done a journal. I won't regale you all with some melodramatic several-pages-long post about my life; things have just been cruising along over here. I'm working, keeping up with my little friendgroup as much as I can, enjoying gaming and arting when I can- typical doldrums of life kinda stuff.
There's been a few developments that are significant, which include me looking for a house of my own to live in, planning with my partner to get them to where I'm at and make our living arrangement permanent, and slowly yet steadily becoming more and more independent.

With all of this, I've had a looong time to think on commissions and how I want to approach them in the future. I know how my ADD ass works, and it seeks novelty, excitement, and things that it enjoys creating when it comes to art. If something doesn't fit that bill, drawing it is like pulling teeth and the art that could be done in a day or two takes upwards of several months or longer to be done- it's unfun
for me and the commissioner. Art has only ever been a way for me to make a happy buck and not a legitimate means of income, so I don't feel any sort of pressure to crank out work with maximum efficiency. To this end, once I post the final comm in my queue, I will officially be permanently closing commissions, barring situations where I can mostly curate the content to my liking including YCHs, collabs, auctions, and select rare exceptions. Some specific exceptions for friends may come into play, but otherwise, I just want to draw what I enjoy for the sake of enjoyment and not stuff that doesn't bring me joy for sake of money.

Expanding on this further, I've been working on something big in the background for the past few years on and off. A big worldbuilding personal project that's somewhat similar in vibes to my friend Tau's "Cults of the Conclave" setting, called Gehenna. Really the setting is called "The Dark Forest" but the main chunk that I've been developing and that most folks will be interested in is called Gehenna. To summarize it very plainly, it's "A chunk of Hell is corrupted by an eldritch parasite and is now ruled by lustful gods who seek to extract endless amounts of lust from the souls that enter their realm." Kink Hell if you will. I've been posting a lot of the art and snippets of lore I've been cooking up for it on my bluesky, but a lot of that will start shifting here and into a Discord server in the near future. I look forward to sharing my brainchild with y'all and hopefully I'll give folks some new freaky kinky beasties to thirst over. :3c

So to summarize: Life's moving along slowly but steadily, I want to do the art that excites me and I don't really care about money so outside of ychs, collabs, and auctions, comms are now permanently closed, and I'm brewing a kink hell setting that I think a lot of people will hopefully enjoy.
