PLUR <3 FUR
Day 1: While we had intended to leave at 6am, we ended up leaving at 4pm. I was so excited I felt like I was going to erupt! The drive was nice, and we had good conversation with Grim, Steele and Kaworu. We arrived at 12:30am, dropped my stuff off with my roommates Kit, Ray and Kit's BF. Went downstairs, had a few fireball shots and got to see some great friends! Star and Lexie and got and gave back rubs! crashed to get ready for the next day!
Day 2: Highlight's: My mind was BLOWN when they did a mystery science theater of the freaking MEME, Kool Kat saves the day and met a cute guy who turned out to be Brometheus bear from the prior year’s themes ;3
Waited in line for reg, immediately saw friends like Charlie, Sachie and Shadow. Saw a cool poi spinning rainbow cat and a hilariously chubby inflatable dino. Unfortunately, someone carved a swastika in the bathroom stall. However, I had a brilliant time sunbathing by the pool, Got selfies with my friends Zomiee and Stypes in AMAZING self-made fursuits. Did one full arm of Kandie, always good to put on a "cannon Blaster" ;3 went back and did a bit of fursuiting. Went to the dance and had a blast, okay music. hung out with my friends Charlie and Liambe, drinking fireball out of my flask the whole time!
Day 3: Highlights: A girl came up to me and told me she was a fan and watched me for years on FA. She gave me a sweet piece of kandie. If you see this, PLEASE let me know! Sorry I missed your badge. Also, got to give a sweet kandie cuff I had made yeaaaaarrrrsss ago with a plushie a friend Dewey the fox had given me to put on a piece of kandie. felt great to reunite him with his plushie. Best music of the con.
Woke up and took 4 shots of fireball! Went Downstairs and took pics for my normal friends and people that couldn’t go. Got to finally take a pic with a stoner lion fursuit I had been talking to on telegram! explored the video game room where I felt dumbstruck by the insane amount of games available, saw my friend midakai, chatted with a friend Shiro and snagged some cool free stickers. Did some fursuiting, hitting up the parties, the music at the dance was sweet. by this time the whiteboard was full of art! Did poi and got to see Strypes do amazing poi!
Day 4: Highlight: Getting to hang out with my friends who are big edm fans Decibel, DTHJoey and Kit-fox suuuper late at night, watching the last sets and digging the sleep deprivation, and then going to the lobby and chatting till I nearly fell asleep sitting up. Also got an amazing foot massage from Shadow!
Woke up feeling almost hungover but accomplished. Now that there was no line to the dealer’s den I hit it up and got pictures with other EDM fans, an amazing Rengar from League of legends, Kale, Thomas the fox, some other people that liked my edm stuff, and suited and hit up more parties and the dance. Okay music, lots of room parties. Jei Cheetah gave me a pair of ultra-glowsticks which was awesome to spin, and I got to see simboku and shadow cheetah spin, so it was a night of seeing some talented furs!
Day 5: Highlight: Wore my lucha dore mask and felt totally pumped!!! got to flex with a friend wrestle, with Star and talk deep stuff with him while drinking ^^ Also got to wear full Kandie arms! The pool party was amazing that day! I got to hot tub with my friends, Zero, his friend and quietfire! I also spun flags with quite a bit a liquor in my system, poolside. Security kept an eye on me, but I was so capable they didn’t stop me!
Went around, kinda exhausted and delirious, which is awesome :3
The rest of the day was kinda lazy, got pics with lots of friends, wandering around with a lot of drink in me, fursuited before and during the dance but the music was a bit uninspired/inappropriate for the dead dog dance. Went to the parties too I should mention the silent disco (run by num num who I had the pleasure to talk to) had good music, the Redland furs/wine and chocolate/space parties were quite chill. I did the fursuit photoshoot and Watched a bit of the musical, which had some real feels to it. at the end of the night I helped the Normal Party clean up and got to take a bunch of free liquor bottles back to my room, which I shared with my roommates.
Monday: Drank the restof my fireball and some vodka, brought my stuff down to the lobby and chilled with Stormchase, seeing friends walk by, running up to them, hugging them or rubbing their tummies. Got to see Lucky Coyote which is always a pleasure and down a ton of sugar. Went back on the caravan, stopped by the famous shatz bakery, ate a dank pastrami at shatz roadhouse, and had fantastic delirious conversation with my carmates and the caravan we went down with, via walkie talkie. Made it home safe, watched some mindless stuff and had an amazing sleep!
Overall, I had an amazing con and was so excited and happy to see and hang out with friends. the amenities the hotel offered was quite nice too. I usually don’t expect much from the music at cons, but it was mostly okay and even quite good one of the nights. Unfortunately, I kinda didn’t slip into "con mode" as fast as I wanted to, and it felt like it went by fast. Plus, the room parties were not as bumping as they had been in prior years. Plus, I really noticed my fursuit is getting patchy in some parts v.v

Overall, I had an amazing con and was so excited and happy to see and hang out with friends. the amenities the hotel offered was quite nice too.
