"It's OK to be a glowstick. Sometimes we have to break before we can shine." - Unknown
I never get much of a response on my journals, so I don't know what I expect, but I'm trying everything I can think of here...
My husky, Xy, is missing. He was there when i got home today, but went missing after lunch. We think someone might have taken him from our yard in caldwell county, North Carolina as the fence wasn't dug under. He's 6 years old, and he has a few medical conditions. I've posted on Facebook groups, shared to friends and family, we're putting up posters and checking sites like Craigslist. Once they open, we'll be notifying the local vets, pound, and shelters.
I don't even know how many in this community are local enough to potentially see him, but please....if you are, share this, and keep an eye out.

That white stripe goes all the way from his forehead down the back of his neck and across the front of his shoulder.

:( Sending you good vibes. The facebook groups are always super valuable resources. Check with neighboring county animal controls too. I've seen some weird ish happen with my new job when people "liberate" an animal.

We will, and thank you. That's what we think may have happened. There's no places where the fence was dug under ( the bottom section is buried underground so he'd have to dig a bit) and we've had people hanging around the fence who leave when we show up. There's a padlock and chain on the gate, but it's mostly a deterrent since you don't actually need the key, but you wouldn't know that unless you played with it. And s while back we had animal control come out because someone made false accusations that he was malnourished and never had water.
