Speak up, I didn't get that

Something I've been wondering about fursuiting for a couple of days now.
I find it interesting some furs talk while in character and some do not, is this just a personal preference or is it just part of that character's immersion?
(I guess having a jaw that can move is a bonus, beats being muffled in any case)
Maybe it could have something to do with how far you can get with gestures alone / whether or not you're a good voice actor!
One thing for sure is that all furs go quiet when there's children about
(maybe that's just the unspoken rule)
There also seems to be a 'critical mass' of furries where people will line up to take have their picture taken, i think it's three :D
Anyway, your thoughts are welcome :P

Or the suiter does it to remain more anonymous, like when borrowing a suit from a friend who has more than one.
