God I hate my job. *VENT*

God f*cking damn today. Okay, lemme start from the beginning.
For those who don't know, I've been working in a bottle redemption area that is in a convenience/liquor store. I work there on the weekends and it's not a bad job, it can just be a tad annoying. Today, was one of those days.
On Saturdays, that's our busiest day of the week and we have 3 people there in the bottle area from 10 to 2, and the rest of the day there's either 1 or 2 people on staff. One of our 3 people called out yesterday and I had to cover for them yesterday. They came in today when I was supposed to come in and open the area. HE WAS THERE FOR 15 MINUTES, GRABBED A THING OF LTD AND A 20 OUNCE SPRITE AND LEAVES. The morning until the other guy arrived was pretty tame, and picked up around 10:15 all the way to 12PM, I went and got lunch and my coworker was working on the tail end of a drop off - a drop off is when people leave there bottles and we count them when we have a moment to get them done - and that was pretty easy. Then, we get slammed from 12:50 onwards with people that have (and throughout the day) have had non-returnable bottles and cans. We can't count them to give them for money, so we recycle them. WE FILLED 15 BAGS - 10 GALLON BAGS - WITH NON-RETURNABLES. People kept coming in with them throughout the day and it my coworker was at his wits end cus he's had a bad week. The last customer we have starts arguing with him because we had a total of 5 Cents (USD) difference because he had 1 non returnable. Then, after they're done arguing, it was almost time for him to leave, when a lady who came with at least $80 USD worth of returnables pulls into the parking lot, he blows up at her AND the boss, and leaves. I get stuck dealing with customers non-stop until 3:45 when my night-shift helper showed up at 3, and we had finally finished our customers. I filled up the coolers and left, and I'm done bitching now. Please forgive this very long winded rant.
