still trying to get my brain working normal...I can barely tie my shoes :/ (I'll stick to flip flops LOL). I'm getting the hours of sleep I need (some nights)...but even when I get the sleep-I'm still so tired...and then some nights it's SO hard to fall asleep and then I can't stay asleep. I'm a little worried it's my thyroid acting up again :( My eye brows are starting to thin and my hair is falling out a little more heavily. I'm also getting the first tell-tale sign that lead to finding the thyroid issues years ago- my partial hand numbness/sleep sensation. Now I've got to figure out how to see a doctor. I've got no insurance and I'm uber broke :( Why does my luck have to go this way *sigh*

OP
nothing really ('m just venting and letting everyone know why I'm not getting much out there) ...I think this is just rough patch I'm going to have to push through. Westley is teething heavily right now too and waking like 3-4 times a night (he is soaking big puddles in our carpet and refusing meals unless it's really cold food) ...and then all day he wants to be held and consoled. Maybe once he cuts this set of teeth I can get a little more sleep, which will likely make a world of difference. I also found out a local hospital will do base blood work for $30...so I can get my thyroid levels checked when I have a tiny bit of money left over.

OK. Can you please send me an update closer to the 15th when I can help? And Westley... is that normal behaviour for when they're teething because it concerns me... altho the cold food probably numbs the pain...

yeah...they get so drooly with the teething..and I'm chilling the food to soothe his gums, as well as keeping him stocked on cold teething rings :3 He's uncomfortable so he's all clingy...it'll pass, it's just rough right now-this will be his second set (he got his first bottom two about 2 months ago)

I dont know where you are but out here in California there are ways to get free insurance from the state, always worth looking into to see if your state has similar programs. The insurance sucks but it pretty much covers all medications, its just the visits that are still pricy.

We have medicaid here (it will pay everything), but you have to be pretty much living in a box to qualify (something in the realm of $400 or less a month) unless pregnant, a child, or mental/physically disabled. Otherwise pretty much out of luck and we can't afford to go on my husband's insurance (it more than doubles when adding me-thankfully my son is on Medicaid until he's 1)

After he turns 1 see if you might qualify for Healthy Families that is what I have for my sons . If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to medical for them .

OP
he'll qualify for what they call Peach care, it's paid for by the state-all we have to do is pay something like $9 a month. Which is good since he has a ongoing medical condition that has to be monitored by a specialist (he was born with a single kidney) and there is no way I could afford it otherwise.
