Depression can be a huge motivation killer.

Stress is a big blocker. My suggestion is to take a bit and simply stop 'trying so hard to draw' and simply do something else. Go watch a movie, or play a game. ^_^

It's worth noting though the things you brought up, do cause stress and that causes a lot of artist block. I hope things get better for you on those fronts soon!

In a way, your situation sounds close to my own. Though rather than thinking about being done, my issue is feeling like I have virtually no time to myself to work on any of the ideas I have in mind.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be 'the end' for you. But if it should, you've certainly lasted a lot longer than many others I've seen come and go. And for that, I commend ya.

well, hey bud, if a collab project would perp ya up, I'd be down helping ya out sometime. Always found we shared a common interest in things, collabing was always pretty breezy.

"You were the fastest sperm" is absolutely not true. The fastest sperm dies first. The ovum has a barrier that needs wearing down, and it's worn down by multiple sperm hitting it repeatedly. What you are is the sperm that hit the ovum at the right time.

For most of us it's the one and only time we win the lottery.

That said, platitudes and reenforcing words like this rarely help. The person tends to focus on why it's not true, rather than being uplifted by it.

If you deliberately try and bring yourself down, you have nobody to blame but yourself, and only you can help yourself.

Yup, I know you're trying, but the thing is stress and depression aren't just fixed by making yourself feel happy.
If someone broke their leg, they can't will it fixed.
