Hopefully I'm Back --
7 years ago
I'm sorry to be out of touch for so long. Hopefully that's over. I'm very open about my mental illness (runs in the family, alas), and sometimes it overwhelms me, often for months on end. That's the case right now, but I'm starting to feel like I'm surfacing. It's encouraging to me.
You have my word that I will get your art to you, but I want it to be the quality you expect from me. This is a very frustrating condition...
I've been working on art lately, which is a good thing, and some of you have gotten long awaited commissions. I hope you're happy with them. :)
It’s been a rough time for my family. My father died on Christmas day. He's finally at peace now, I hope.
I'm feeling better (yeah, meds!) and it's time I touched base. I have fallen too far behind to continue taking commissions yet – I've been devoting my time to finishing the existing commissions.
The other side of this train wreck is that with my husband out of work, and me unable to work, we have no money and are deeply in debt to my incredible sister. So, with that in mind, I will be doing the occasional sale piece so I can continue to keep a roof over our heads.
Thank you for being so patient;

Sorry to hear of your family loss, it's never easy loosing someone dear.
HUGGGGGZ femm
I am sorry for that, but it is good to hear you are still alive. I pray that you can get caught up your queue and that your husband finds a job before it's too late for the both of you.
I hope to hear from you in the up coming months so we can complete this process. In the mean time, big hugs to your hubby and I hope he finds some work soon and bigger hugs to your sister. It is very heart warming she was able to help you so much.
Welcome back.

But very glad to hear you're starting to feel better, and drawing again! Hang in there!
...we have so much in common, it would seem. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how stressful and draining this can be, especially when suffering from an affliction like yours. I'm glad that things are finally starting to look up for you. Take things a day at a time and don't take on more than you can handle. Believe that things will get better. I'm praying for you and your loved one.
