Regarding the future of this account...

So, some of you may or may not be aware that a lot of artists, writers, etc. have been abandoning FurAffinity lately and moving to Inkbunny or other places that are...how should I put this...more "user friendly", so to speak. I know we've been through this same song and dance many other times before and in the past I've taken a "wait and see" attitude towards these things, but I'm beginning to think that it might be coming towards a point where it may be counterproductive to keep producing stuff for this site.
Now, before you all start panicking, I want to make this perfectly clear...I am NOT, I repeat, NOT abandoning my account here!...for now. I've been on FA for a little over 10 years and I would prefer not to leave it completely. Having said that, I'm beginning to think that maybe I should focus more of my time and effort into my Inkbunny and SoFurry accounts. I still plan on posting new content here, but it may come less frequently than it has in the past. Also, should things change in the future, I will let you know about them ahead of time so you can plan ahead for when they happen.
Just in case you haven't already found me, I will leave the links to my Inkbunny and SoFurry pages down below. I will continue to produce new content for these sites on a semi-regular basis no matter what happens here...

Yeah, it seems to have started a couple weeks ago...about the same time FA made changes to their policies. It seems as if every time FA does something like this a lot of people are like "fuck this shit, I'm done here!" Personally, I like to take a more cautious approach to things like this. FA has made many policy changes in the time I've been here, and most have had little or no effect on me. Of course, if something were to come along to really piss me off then that might change. However, for the time-being, I'm taking the same "wait and see" approach as I've done before, thinking that this will be another thing that just simply blows over with little or no personal effect.

SoFurry is dead and putting your work on Inkbunny is like throwing oil paintings into a barn fire. If you're going to post art your best bet is use DeviantArt for clean stuff and/or your own website via a hosting service that is OK with mature art. The reason I say that about Inkbunny is if you post there you're instantly associating your art with graphic adult cub art. Whether you approve of it or not it means less people are going to be willing to associate themselves with you. There are a few other furry sites but honestly ever since IMVU bought this site Dragoneer has made a ton of improvements. Not all of them have been smart-the recent limitation of users freedom of expression went too far in the direction of censorship-but at least the interface and back end coding have been spruced up some. It's not the dumpster fire it used to be by a long shot.
