people look online for pics of characters they like and then use those to roleplay with, it might be worth contacting them and asking them to stop?

Its really annoying, i get that people might like a character enough to want to use it, but they are calling the character there own and not crediting the artist too.

yeah it's such a shitty thing to do, esecially when you've put work into designing the character, paid an artist, and they've put time into doing the artwork

Kik is a messenging app for people who don't like using facebook messenger or their phone number to text. sorta basically just a chat app. nothing fancy. whoever was doing it prolly used them in a personal message, though im also not 100% on how it works, i only know discord. My own opinion is that these sorts of people cant be avoided, there are art thieves wherever we go, and if it's not something that's financially damaging anything, or taking profit, i personally just let them slide since i know my characters are mine, and sooner or later someone else will probably call them out, that is a fan or recognizes the art/characters (like your friend did) whatever you decide is up to you, and i wish you luck on figuring things out. uvu
