Downtown Oakville Fur Walk
I'm hosting a fur walk in the beautiful core of Downtown Oakville on the 1st of July. Weather permitting.
We'll meet outside the Erchless Estate which is at 8 Navy Street for 10am and we'll start the walk at 11am. There's parking on the south side of the Oakville Lawn Bowling Club on King Street and around Lakeside Park on Navy Street and Front Street. If you're taking the bus from Oakville GO Station, take the Route 14 Lakeshore West bus and get off at Church and Dunn. Walk south on Dunn as far as you can get to Lake Ontario and then make a right at Front Street and follow that to the Erchless Estate. We'll be gathering at Navy Street and King Street. There are washroom facilities at Lakeside Park and at Tannery Park that should hopefully be open if needed. We will have water to keep you hydrated. If you want to come to be a handler for taking photos and/or videos or to give the suiters water, we can't thank you more than enough to come!
Itinerary:
We'll hang around Lakeside Park for photos. It will give a chance for those walking from the bus for a little breather. There's also the pier and the Erchless Estate where we can wander to as well.
From there we'll head up Front Street to Dingle Park and follow the path to the foot of Allen Street. We head north on Allen Street to Lakeshore Road East. We'll head west on the south side of Lakeshore Road and stop and hang for a group photo at the Town Square.
We continue west on Lakeshore Road crossing the bridge over the Sixteen Mile Creek and making a left onto Chisholm Street. We follow Chisholm Street south and make left at Walker Street. We then continue up Walker Street and get on the path at Tannery Park that'll take us to the Tannery Park Beacon and observation deck which will be the end terminus of the fur walk. We can hang out at Tannery Park for photos before making our way back to the Erchless Estate.
Best way to get a hold of me is to message me through Facebook Messenger. I'll be unable to use my cell phone once I'm in suit.
There are no dinner plans after the fur walk, but we could head over to The Works if you'd like.

This sounds neat. I'll see if I can make it. Are there many Oakville furs?

That brings back memories to me... I remember you not being too certain about my idea to go out in the public like that. I'm really glad that nowadays you get to go out a lot with your costumes and entertain a lot of people while enjoying being yourself! Be well and have fun!
