The cage fits almost too well.

So the size changes I made worked out perfectly. The cage is actually very comfortable and I can almost forget it's there. One problem a lot of cages have is that when you get hard your clit pulls the ring away from your body tugging your balls. Well this cage is the perfect size for my clit meaning there's nowhere for things to expand and it's pointed downwards so it's already forced to stay smaller than usual. This is keeping the cage right in between my legs and it's not moving. Even when I get hard I don't feel any pain and there's no change in the size of the bulge in my paints.
I've been wearing the cage since I got it in the afternoon yesterday and I don't think I'm going to be allowed out of it again for a long time. Last night I did have some pain, but it was minor enough that I got a little bit of lube to help it and things have been fine ever since. I think I look really good wearing it too, it makes me all nice and small~
I meant to add that the cage almost feels like it's constantly constricting my clit. Imagine you leave your fingers curled up or your elbow bent for a long time and you just want to stretch it. It feels a lot like that, my clit has been kept perfectly in place for so long, it's a feeling I'll need to get used to.

The first Holy Trainer I got had a slightly too small of a ring and too large of a tube. The ring had a similar effect to the silicone cage, but rather than causing enormous burning pain everywhere the ring was touching my skin, it only hurt on either the right or left side, it never actually hurt on both. The tube being too long was again a sanitary issue, but it was still easier to deal with than the silicone cage. My clit doesn't grip against the cage nearly as much and a q-tip worked wonders in aligning things. It was definitely weird though not being able to press the cage like I could with the silicone one to help me move things. (Don't poke with the q-tip, it hurts, I've been slipping it in at an angle then rolling it where I want it to go. I also found that wetting the q-tip helps.)
My current HT has so far caused very little to no pain. Sometimes I still get a burning pain from where the ring is too tight and not letting skin through, but it only happened once last night. Applying a little bit of lube tends to solve the problem for many, many hours, which I don't think is unreasonable to add to my daily routine. The tube size is the perfect length. I noticed that the tip of my clit tends to angle upwards just a bit, so using the bathroom still requires a slight adjustment with a q-tip, but that's all it is, a slight adjustment. If the hole at the tip went a tiny bit farther up then it wouldn't generally require any adjusting. It's made bathroom visits a lot cleaner and they give me a lot less anxiety. The smaller cage also fits in my pants a bit stealthier too.
