Hey, good to see you around FA again! :)

Don't worry nor feel bad about not being active on here, I've been pretty quiet myself the last year or so. FA can honestly feel like a ghost town, at times, since so many people seem to be mostly moving on to Twitter or Tumblr. Just glad you've been doing well, otherwise!

Yeah, sadly real life just keeps me really busy at this point. @.@ Just seems the older you get the harder it is to find time to do things.

I agree both DA and FA don't feel like they use too. Its been so hard to find anyone to talk too, which is another reason I've been a bit lacking. The whole reason I joined sites like DA and FA was to meet new artist and share in fun ideas/stories/concepts and so on. So much of how far I've come has been through that. Even things like Ike's transformation...which just started off as a fun idea with a friend to gender bender our characters. So many little things from the friends I had made had help impact where I am today.

Now its just so dead...another part likely moving away from the Sonic style, but I had so many reasons to move away from it.

Oh I completely know what you mean by that, dude, 100% ^_^; When we work or whatever, it's hard to juggle the things we enjoy inbetween the little time we do have when we're off. Like video games, drawing, watching TV, chatting, etc. I mostly just like using my time off to relax, more than anything!

I know, right? It's a shame really....Twitter is OK, it's just so hard to really keep up with people's artwork as everything kind of piles up all into one feed/timeline filled with memes and random strangers' arguments. I kinda wish people stuck around more on here and DA, as these sites have stronger art and fandom focus, but I understand people move on to different things.
I know what you mean about not having folks to talk to, as well. I have people to chat with, I'm just a bit shy and not the best at approaching people 1st, haha! However, I'd be more than happy to chat with you one day, if you ever want! I know we talked a few times through DA notes (Still appreciate and adore the gift art you made for me years back, too!) Just been a bit bad with keeping up with DA and the friends who post mostly there!

But, yeah, glad you have made some good friends throughout the years who have helped inspire new ideas for your OCs. :) And it's totally OK to want to expand outside of the Sonic style. I know several people who started out in the art world with the Sonic style, including one of my closet friends, and all of them have eventually developed their own styles and went from there. It just shows your art is growing and I look forward to seeing more of it here!

Yeah even since the Nintendo Switch came out I have found myself gaming much more. I'm trying to break away and find time to at least do some art...but after work I just feel so drained. @.@ Hopefully my mood will pick up, been rather lackluster this year...

I never wanted to expand to far, mostly due to the risks of the internet...so I've always just stayed with DA and FA. All I mostly wanted was just other artist to chat and have fun with. I've never cared about money or popularity...I've always been very shy and struggle socially, but always try to hold the small base of friends I do have.

I'm always up for chatting and making new friends, and I'm glad you still enjoy the gift after all this time. I always means allot I can bring a smile to someones day, and nice to know I can make a bit of a difference. I tend to jump between the two, though DA is my focus page...I just have this one here when I do something fun I want to post. Once and awhile I just need to do something a little fun to vent...but post some of my better images here as well.

I still enjoy Sonic, but I just wanted to create my own world and have my characters come into their own. I wanted them to be more unique, fun and interesting.

Glad you're back! But yeah, after the admins changed some of their code of conduct rules, a number of people have been leaving. There's always other sites for furry stuff too.

Yeah I've seen allot of rule changes over the years which switched many over to other fur sites like Ink Bunny and so on...as they try to make FA a little more friendly I guess.
Still I think my art is safe from any of the rules.

It still a place I have to post content more suited for this site. :nod:
