You could see if viasat unlimited plans are available in your area. All the plans are 3Mbps up (to the best of my knowledge). The unlimited works the same as unlimited on cell phone plans, deprioritization (NOT throttling) after a given amount of data.

That's odd. Are you on an unlimited plan or a liberty plan? If you're on the former I'd call them back out, something is definitely wrong, you should be seeing at minimum the speed on the plan (except maybe during evenings). I went to a local-ish dealer in my area and got 15 down 4.5 up on the demo setup they had.

At&t is probably pitching their home cellular service, which comes with a 100GB cap, after which you are throttled to ~0.12Mbps. That's why I mentioned contacting a local wisp, as they're typically unlimited.

Yeah the white triangle modem. Going to call them but the new ATT internet deal has a bundle package where its I think it says at least 25 and it's cheaper then Viasat for there 12. The direct tv guy said that he thought it wasn't even out here yet being how new it is. So, got to weigh out and look at all options. Need more then what I am getting now because we just started and we shouldn't have hit any cap yet, it's retarded. plus the fees we paid to put in the lines where a rip off $75 to drop a hard wire into my room then to drop that line into the main room and then another to drop it into the main room for the modem just so they wont put holes in our walls. talk about screwing us over..
