Hello dear kind people of FA!
My hand has recovered considerably this last week and I have found new vigor in arting. I still have a limit in what I can do and how much I can do it but at least I can hold a stylus for longer than 5 minutes AND I no longer drop my cooking knives and pans when I cook :D
Personal Update:
As some may know I have chronic hand pains that have steadily gotten worse these last three years. It's been hard both physically and mentally - what sort of human experience can you have when you can't -do- anything? Thankfully I have a very loving and supportive husband who does his hardest to help me as much as he can. More surprisingly, my mother has come to recognize my emotional and mental discourse as something to delicately handle VS brushing it off calously. She's been careful and tried very hard to be quite verbally supporting ( she has never said the words "See? I need you. We all need you" in such a serious manner before ). To help with my hand issues, I had gone to a doctor during a free temporary clinic and was told that "no amount of physical therapy will cure you." That hit me real hard but my husband persevered quietly and announced that he was able to get me insurance with his work starting January of '18 ! It took a few months to find an available doctor where I live but I was able to find one that was willing take new patients. My first appointment is set for September. I hope that the doctor will be able to get me a nerve test as well as transfer me to a specialist.
March Madness Debrief:
For those who don't know, during March I had created for myself a sort of challenge where I would hash out as much detail as I can within 1 hour everyday for the whole month. Clients paid $15~$20 for these 1 hour challengs and gave me worded "themes" for me to work with. The whole month was an amazing experience! Everyday was a challenge to try to incorporate the given themes while still exhibiting the joys of artistic freedom. Some art pieces that I thought for sure would garner more love didn't hit the mark as much, and yet art pieces that I didn't think would strike a cord with the crowd became the most viewed and faved pieces! Thanks to March Madness I decided to try out more fast paced, quick(er) turnover art styles more love. My polished painterlies take my literal life energy to complete but a lot of the styles I tried out for March Madness still gave me a sense of fullfillment that I get from my polished pieces :D I hope to do these challenges again, although I might limit it to 1 week a month VS 1 whole month here and there in a year. My hands were shot at the end of March and I had trouble squeezing toothpaste ><; in moderation from now on <3
Erotica Series:
During March Madness I had discovered that a lot of my lady arts got a lot of views. There was 1 nude female I did that has gotten the most favs and views which prompted me to try my hand at erotica art :D I sketched up some poses and had intended to sell each one as a elaborate piece with backgrounds BUT, in the end I realized maybe folks prefer to pay less to just have the body VS paying for a whole scene. Right now I have 2 slots left (3 but that pose is put on hold for someone). The fact I was able to sell 2 poses so quickly really fills me up with joy and warmth. In light of that, I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in a second Erotica series but with more masculine physiques?
More Tentacles and Bondage?
I seem to get more engagement from folks when the subject matter pertains to bondage and tentacles. As I myself like those themes, I was wondering if I should do more of either in future YCHs?

Lastingly, thank you all for watching me. Normally I like to go to everyone's page, look through their galleries, scraps, and journals to get a sense of them but with my hand the way it is, I can't click and type without pain. This journal was something I had been typing out on and off for a long while and I am in a lot of pain XD BUT, this is a long overdue journal. As a way to thank my new watchers and my old watchers for sticking with me, I will be holding a free art event sometime soon so please look out for that :D
Have a wonderful day you guys. If there is something you would like to see me do, please don't hesitant to query me. My hand sucks but honestly, knowing ahead of time the sort of content that folks want gives me a goal to heal towards. I am personally not a fan of bondage or tentacle, but I think you will get good traction with it.
From the future project ideas, I would be very interest in the female mage. The Bakeneko adopt would be tempting, but I have too many characters as it is. The other two, not much interest.
As far as actually buying anything, I start double checking my interest at 40USD; and at 80+USD, it better be spot on to what I want. Even then, at 80+, I start seriously considering going to an artist for a commission to have greater control over how the piece turns out.
You do a nice job with your art. I hope a doctor can find a way to manage and control the pain.
