in my experience FA is the easiest place to get recognized!!
dA is too swamped and groups are kind annoying, here you post something (good) on the front page and you get a couple watches every time
plus the community is very nice + frequently features or bumps artists! the commission market is also generally the best here compared to dA/tumb/twitter for me, but that may just be my own experience...

id say just go for it!! see if you get feedback! if not im sure folks will throw you a journal feature or sth!

Ah ok :0 that makes me feel a bit more confident. I will start uploading some art on here hehe. Especially since it seems like nsfw stuff is better filtered and is more allowed on here. The one thing that bothers me about da is that underage peeps get away with so much on there in regards to nsfw @_@

No harm in trying, I'd say. I'm not a regular poster, but I tend to get more attention here than in dA or Tumblr whenever I post something. Someone's always bound to see your new uploads in the front page.
