AC report!

Back from AC and let me tell you, this was the best con I have been to in a long dang time. I unveiled my new personal suit at the con and, despite my anxiety, it was a hit. I didn't expect so many people to love it but she was a huge success. I couldn't go 10 feet without being stopped for photos or to have my work praised. This is of course partially thanks to my wonderful partner who helped with the unveiling, SurlyLion took video of the suit as I ran about, streaming the outing live on twitter so that people could finally see the suit living and breathing! The response was so positive. I also had the best roomies this year which made the convention a delight. We spent some of the time taking care of our weary dealer Fay. I also met up with a few friends from Secondlife which turned into a massive party. Our crew went from 3 to7 and we marched around fursuiting, parting, dancing and having a good freaking time.
cybervixn showed up with their friends and I had body guards haha. A few times I was usually the head or middle of the group and they were all going “Protect da Queen!” Which was great when I was suiting because my amazing handlers made sure me and the other suiters stayed safe, together, hydrated, and none of us got accosted by weird people. The only groping that happened was done between us hah! I think the most interesting part was all the other builders who came up to me to commend me on my work, I'm not used to much attention at all for my work but this time, oh boy, this time I was apparently someone to see at this con and it was an amazing experience. I got to meet so many people who's work I admired for years and had the pleasure of finding out how wonderful they were as well. The amount of kindness and acceptance I was shown was like nothing I had felt before, especially with my unusual style and tastes when it comes to furries and how I want them to look. I only got a small amount of negative feed back, over all it was wildly popular! Surly and I celebrated the anniversary of our engagement at a fancy seafood restaurant in town where we shared a meal with a few friends. I tried caviar for the first time, not bad! Wine, lobster, crab, shrimp, tuna tartar, lobster bisque, it was extravagant! We got a lovely little cake desert too. There was so much toasting and cheering all night. My top recommendations for food at Anthrocon would have to be Sharp edge, Cornado's tacos, and Number 1 Sushi Sushi. If you feel like spending more then hit up Eddie V's Prime Seafood. A big part of the con was Surly getting a chance to playtest his tabletop game. He had a whole group volunteer to play test it and it was a hug success. We had a few hiccups regarding finding enough space for all of us but we managed and the group caught onto how to play the game super fast. None of their characters died! One of the unexpected treats was getting to play pokemon go with a whole group of people and devastating a raid. Over all, the con was amazing. With Surly, Fay, and I all flying there and back together and all these wonderful friends to make it even better, I couldn't ask for a better convention. My love for my work has been rejuvenated, my love for being a suiter refreshed, and my drive to do more projects ignited!
See you next year AC, next con will be MFF for me! In the mean time, thanks for the wonderful time. Thank you for all the laughs, the cheers, the hugs and the complements. It was the time of my life ♥

Even though we didn't get to talk like we have in the past, it was still great to see you at Anthrocon.
Now that I know you were playing Pokemon Go at AC like many others, add me. And your group is highly welcomed to add me too:
Pokemon Trainer: Gojiguard
Trainer Code: 9381 9036 9675
It was nice hanging with you and your group for that short amount of time and I would love to do it again next year, if you'll have me. I'll definitely see about bringing more fun novelty candy along.
