Accept Your Malevolence

changing one's self for the better is challenging, you know what I mean? Like, realizing that you're flawed and having to accept that in order to become a better person and it's never ending... just... so exhausting sometimes. We may find it so easy to point them out in others but when having to hold a mirror to ourselves. A big part of that I find is accepting our malevolence. Not embracing it, simply understanding it. Why fear what you don't understand? Why fear yourself?
We are all capable of malevolence, there is no doubt about it. However, it is when convince ourselves that we are not (for whatever reason), that we leave ourselves vulnerable to that desire for destruction within us, and oblivious to it within others.

I've always been struggling these last couple of years trying to understand who I am and how to change my self-issues.
