ART POLICY (updated) -- getting art with my characters, etc

If you're offering to pay for art...
* DISPARI: You can always get SFW or NSFW art with Dispari, with pretty much any character you want. Just no weird stuff, and please run it by me first
* VICTORIA: I would really prefer SFW stuff, but NSFW stuff is... possible, just make sure to ask
* COLETTE: SFW or NSFW is fine, either way. Please run the details by me first
* KUSHARI: For now I just want to do SFW stuff, and would ask that pictures be in an Egyptian setting where possible, but you should still ask
* OTHERS: Feel free to ask
If you want to share a commission...
* DISPARI: I don't really want to buy new art of Dispari for now, so I will likely decline
* VICTORIA: I would still prefer SFW, but I am actively interested in getting Victoria art so I'll listen to ideas
* COLETTE: SFW or NSFW is possible. I would like to get more art with Colette, so let me know
* KUSHARI: Just SFW, and would like it to be with other Egyptian characters
* OTHERS: Probably not
If I'm getting a commission from you, or you're suggesting an artist to me...
I always pay the full price up front via PayPal, unless the artist has another system they prefer. Most of the time I include pose and outfit references, but I like when artists have freedom to work and can be creative as well. The best scenario for me would be artists who stream commissions so I can watch them being worked on. If it's not going to be streamed I ask to see WIPs such as sketches and flats, just so I can approve them to make sure there are no mistakes. I don't usually like to pay more than about $80 for a one-character piece, and I tend to get colored fullbodies as much as possible.
If I end up waiting more than a month, I will ask for an update. If it goes for too much longer I will usually push for a refund, unless we've already made some other sort of arrangement. I will pretty much never do holiday themed pictures, iron artist, "emergency" commissions, or any other sort of large queue type situation. I also rarely do YCHes. I will work with artists off-site (Tumblr, Deviantart, H-Foundry, etc), as long as they can easily be contacted.
If you're using my art as a reference on an RP site (or want to)...
Believe it or not, I don't really care about this. I know people do it and it's not worth the time and effort for me to try and stop it. My art's all over places like e621 and f-list already. I only ask that if you're going to do it, you credit me as the owner, and be respectful so as not to give me a bad name. Also, don't use any of my names, please.
