I know some people really hate it when artists do this (and I really am sorry if it's an inconvenience to anyone), but I've been thinking about this for a long time now...and by long time I mean for at least the last two or three years. It's been tugging at me especially hard over the past few months, so I feel like maybe it's finally time to go through with it. I'm a bit bummed that you can't just go into your account settings and change your username here like you can on most other sites nowadays, but it is what it is. I'm admittedly a bit nervous about the whole thing (mainly due to how many watchers people lose when they move accounts), but regardless of that I still think I'll be a lot happier and better off for it. I've gone by this name for roughly twelve years now, and to be honest I no longer feel attached to most of the things that made it what it is. I'm ready for change.

I haven't registered the new name here just yet, but I'll probably do so at some point today. Once it's up and running I'll be sure to post a journal and some kind of image pointing toward it, so keep your eyes open for that!
