July 2018 Update! Commission Price Changes Ahoy!

Good evening, all!
It's (probably a little past) time for another of those monthly updates I like to do (and it's better late than never, right?)
It's been a chaotic and and times terrible month, bestricken by tragedy and enriched by highlights. The terror and confusion known as "Life" has indeed been in full force, of late! I lost a family member. But gained some good experiences! I hurt on the inside, but I hope to grow from my pain!
It is a time for reflection and a time to be very glad that I had some stories saved up to post. ^.^;
But anyway!
What do we have to look forwards to? Well... I have to admit, there's been a bit of a holdup in things what with the bereavement and the upheaval and all of that, but I suppose I've got some little thing lying around I can put up, oh, what might that be...

Yes, it's a bit late, but frankly, the awesomeness just needed time for maturation, that's what I say. Indeed, the peak of the latest arc of the series which many of you started watching me for has come at last!

Oh, hey, did I mention that I was re-writing PMD:A? Did you know that I've already done the first six chapters, polishing them up, removing inconsistencies, typos, all the rest of it?

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Awakening Chapter 1 - A Chance Encounter
SPC - Master of the Mountain
The mountain was capped with snow where it scraped against the heavens themselves. Where blue and white meet in a place of grand beauty. It is where an ancient and powerful beast lays claim over a grand natural domain. A grand prize for a skilled and audacious challenger.
This is a tale that became a founding myth connected to a long-living legend. This is a story of a conflict that became a connection which became a founding stone for a people and a way of life.
This is a story with a hot martial arts chick and a big sexy snowtales.

So! This is also announcing the very first collaboration between myself and the powerful Poke-smut collective, Someone's PC! Yes, they commissioned me to produce a piece for them and well, I made sure to bring my A game. z: )

Commission Price Changes:
Yes, it's that time again. It was last year that Dark Violet helped me produce this nifty 2017 price sheet but now it's time to assess the situation and revise my prices! (There'll probably be a nice new price sheet, too.)
Story prices will now be at £5 / 1000 words (~$6.50 / 1000 words.) This price better reflects the time I put into each project! At the start of a commission, I’ll outline for you the basic plan and projected length of the story, and you’ll also receive updates as I write it! ^.^
Meanwhile, art prices are going down! That’s right! What cost you £10 before now might now only cost you £7.50. I’m wanting to be a little experimental with my style in future, combining my current sketch stages with older styles and methods, which I hope will produce much better art as a whole. To this end, I’m also offering brand new sketch and lineart commissions too - be sure to check those out!
So! Here's the New Prices:
The base cost pays for a single character plus any simple props or costumes.
The Extra Service charge is applied for the following:
* An Extra Character
* A particularly extravagant character (one roughly representing the workload of a whole extra character)
* A background

Summer Scene Competition!
I always like to have some third thing for my journals and I generally like to make it fun.
Well then!
It's been a lovely Summer and for all the awful things that have happened during it, the glorious sunshine has not been one of them!
So here's what I want from you; Comment below and come up with some little scenario involving some of the characters from of one of the story series I write and the theme of summer weather. Could be funny or perverse, either or or whatever else is good with me. Make me smile. ^.^
What do you get? Well, if I particularly like one, I'll doodle you up a sketch to bring your scene to life! Might even write 1k short to go with it! How's about that?
