My newest OC, Prince Donovahn Yukon, belongs to an AU from the middle ages. Originally named Donovhan O'Leary, he hails from a rich Gaelic family who-- for his 17th birthday --sends him overseas to a cluster of islands near Canada and Denmark that they purchased for him. There, with some of his best men, he establishes a small government and builds himself a castle. The locals of the area initially hate him, calling him 'The Dublin Pup' to mock both his Irish blood and his young age. However, after several attempts to make peace with his people, he falls in love with a local girl named Ophelia Yukon and learns how repressive his family has been. Donovahn starts a rebellion against his family's rule over the area and becomes loved by the natives, eventually becoming known (this time more lovingly) as the Shamrock Prince. He changes his last name to 'Yukon' and changes his crest to a red caribou, taking sides with his new home and leading them to freedom.
