29/07/18: Big News! New Programmer steps forth!
Hey Everyone!
As the subject says, after some talks and demonstrations and some very early and crucial promoting back when Predation was a $70 a month project on Patreon, my friend Byful has offered his help in making a stable and far more streamlined engine for the game!
Me and the other mods in the discord server have been saying for a while what a nice guy he is and how good he appears to be at programming from glimpses of stuff, but after he grabbed GM2 and we talked for a bit he was on board to help me out!
This means I can focus my attentions purely on the art side for the moment ,getting the animations done and the backgrounds designed and all that, and not have to worry or stress about leaving the code there to be forgotten while I hammer out an animation or two; but now that stress isn't there anymore, I've got an awesome programmer covering me and really ensuring the future productivity of this project!
So stay tuned while that conversion from my novice code to something more professional is achieved, I'll go back to animating and animating to my heart's content, and everyone is hopefully very happy, I sure am! Especially considering the very generous discount to his services he gave me, he's a really decent guy and I look forward to working with him to make the game as good a quality as we can ^^

FA+

In fact I can tell you for a fact I'm far more likely to be that one whose code no one has any hope of understanding coz I didn't realise the point of labelling e everything clearly when I started xD
I appreciate the concern though, it's certainly an easy thing to not take into account when you're doing stuff like this!
